While heading towards theGerudo Desert, players will encounter the seemingly desertedGerudo Canyon Stablelocated atcoordinates (-2794, -2239, 0029). There is no one present at the reception desk to register or manage horses, and no horses are in sight either. The stable’s only resident appears to be a charming pup who passes the time chasing its own tail. Upon closer inspection, Link will observe that all entrances to the stable are obstructed by sizable wooden crates.

Players will notice a speech bubble emanating from within the stable, indicating the presence of its frustrated stablehand, Piaffe, who is trapped amidst the boxes. Piaffe is pondering the daunting task of cleaning up the stable. Upon breaking through enough boxes to gain entry, using a bludgeoning weapon, Link learns from Piaffe that the stable has ceased operations. It doesn’t receive any visitors due to the scorching heat generated by the Regional Phenomena, and travelers are heading further down the road into the Desert to rest at theKara Kara Bazaarinstead. With a strange hint of resentment, Piaffe mentions that the stable’s operations were also heavily affected by an advisory from Princess Zelda to avoid the Gerudo Canyon Well adjacent to the stable.

This conversation with Piaffe will start the quest,“Piaffe, Packed Away,“with the very straightforward objective of clearing the abundance of crates from the stable. Destroying these crates will yield agenerous supply of arrows, as well as some apples andacorns.

The boxes are a bit more durable compared to smaller, ordinary crates, and will require additional force to destroy them. Alternatively, Link can employ a more chaotic strategy by utilizing fire, as the stable will remain unharmed in the process.
