TheAnedamimik ShrineinThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis one of the many, many shrines players will discover through their adventures in Hyrule. Before players can enter this shrine and face its challenge, they must first discover how to gain access to the shrine’s entrance, which is submerged in water. Read on to learn how to unlock and solve the Anedamimik Shrine inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Unlock Anedamimik Shrine
Anedamimik Shrineis located withinDeepback Bay Cavern. The entrance to the cave can be found on the beach atcoordinates 4206, -2291, 0000, directly East of Hateno Village. Upon entering the cave, the player has the choice to either run past the Horriblin orengage it in a fightand defeat the monster for its drops. The player will soon come across a shrine, but its entrance is currently underwater and inaccessible.
To progress, drop through one of the holes on either side. On a short ledge, the player will encounter a creature called aLike Like. Defeat it, and it will drop a chest containing a shield and arrows. With the Like Like out of the way,use bomb arrowsto destroy the rock wall. This will cause the water to drain out from the room where you previously encountered the shrine.
The player should then head back to where they dropped and use the Ascend ability to get back up to the upper level. Proceeding forward, the player will now be able to enterAnedamimik Shrine.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Anedamimik Shrine Solution (A Retraced Path)
Upon entering theAnedamimik Shrine, the player will notice a ledge to the right with a treasure chest. To reach this chest, simply head over to the ledge, stand underneath and use the Ascend ability. Once at the top of the ledge, looting the chest will reward the player witha Large Zonai Charge.
The player should jump off the ledge and head to thepillar switchlocated in the center of the room. Here, the player will notice an opening in the wall to the right that dispenses alarge ball, which will roll across the floor and off the ledge on the other side.
To solve the puzzle of this shrine, the player should wait until a ball has been dispensed, thenattack the pillar switchon the ledge, which will shift the stairs toward the back of the shrine and relocate the hole in the wall to the location from where the ball was previously released. The player can drop the ball into any of the openings in the floor to have the wall dispenser provide a new ball.
Activate theRecallability and target the ball, then activate the Recall. This will cause the ball to roll backward through the now-open space and into the relocated hole in the wall.
Doing so willraise the gateblocking the end of the shrine. Link should proceed through the gate once opened, during Recall, as once Recall ends and the ball falls from the hole, the gate will close once more.
The player should then enter the open gate andcollect the Light of Blessingfrom the statues. This completes theAnedamimik ShrineinTheLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
