Although his rise to YouTube fame has been relatively recent, it’d be hard-pressed to find somebody who hasn’t heard of Mr Beast’scrazy antics on the popular social media platform. Whether it’s throwing arock, paper, scissors contest with a $250,000 prize pool, buying a pizza and tipping the delivery man an entire house, or challenging a series of popular YouTubers to see who can stay inside a circle for the longest amount of time to win 100,000 dollars, he’s quickly become iconic for his eccentric and expensive video ideas.
He also hosts a second channel calledMr BeastGaming, where he combines his wacky main channel ideas with hugely popular video games. Recently, he’s become a huge fan ofMinecraft,creating such videos as “Whatever You Build, I’ll Pay For,” and “4 Hackers vs 100 Players.” His most recent video is perhaps one of his funniest to date, however, with the popular YouTube sensation raiding hugeMinecraftservers with 10,000 fans and seeing how long they take to crash.

Mr Beast is very clear at the beginning of his video that he has permission from the servers' owners to conduct the raids, with the video seeming more like an experiment to garner how long it would take for his legion of fans to overload theMinecraftworldsthan to cause any frustration. He even starts with some servers he purchased himself, showing how long it would take for fans from his Discord to overwhelm low, mid, high, and mega tier servers. The results vary, but it doesn’t take long for each and every one of these heavily populated worlds to crash, with over 1,000 players sending most of Mr Beast’s servers offline.
He then jumps onto two official servers to see what damage can be done, welcoming in his legion of fans. Spire Network, the first of Mr Beast’sMinecraftservers, goes down fairly quickly, with the video revealing 500 people joined in a minute. The second, Void Realms, fares even worse, with only 100 of Mr Beasts fans finishing the server off.
Perhaps the most interesting takeaway from the entire video, however, is the strength of Mr Beast’s community, who, following the YouTubers video, stuck around on his testMinecraftserver. When Mr Beast returns to the server later in the video, he sees that they’ve cultivated a pretty insane world, with tons of buildings, interesting objects, and a mountain that’s been entirely sculpted insurvival mode. The YouTuber even tells the players that he’ll leave the server up, so they can continue playing for the foreseeable future.
