Though theDragonriding feature inDragonflighthas most players obsessed, there are still plenty of excuses and opportunities to use traditional mounts. The ottuks tied to the new Tuskarr faction of Iskaara are an adorable addition to the game, and the previously elusive Otto belongs to this mount family. Of course, the one thing Otto has over his ottuk brothers is the rather simple yet undeniably cool fact that he wears sunglasses alongside the player.

The credit for the discovery on how to get Otto belongs to the WoW Secrets Discord, but it was a player named fearkillsdreams that got the barrel rolling, so to speak. The guide was posted by Tempic098 on the officialWorld of Warcraftsubreddit, and the steps on how to acquire this secret mount sound positively insane to outsiders, but make perfect sense once all the clues are taken into account.
The first thing that players need to obtain is a pair of Aquatic Shades, a sunglasses toy obtained from the Great Swog in exchange for a Gold Coin of the Isles, a newly introduced fishing currency. With Aquatic Shades in hand,World of Warcraftplayers must make their way to the dive bar behind the Obsidian Citadel in theWaking Shores zone. After equipping the toy, they need to walk to the dance mat found inside the bar, and dance for at least five-to-seven minutes to “die” due to a newly acquired debuff.
Instead of dying, players will be teleported outside with an Empty Fish Barrel in front of them. After obtaining the barrel, players will need to fill it up with a specific combination of fish.Fishing inWorld of Warcraftmay not be the most exciting pursuit on its own, so players can use the Better Fishing add-on to make their life easier. The first type of fish can be found in the Iskaara Village (12.19, 50.00), with the guide asking for 100 Frigid Floe Fish, an item that suspiciously served no purpose up until now.
The second stage sends players back to the Waking Shores to fish up 25 Calamitous Carps out of the lava in the zone (33.67, 64.75). Lastly, the final fish needed to fill up the barrel is Kingfin the Wise Whiskerfish from the Thaldraszus zone (56.00, 44.00). With a filled up barrel,World of Warcraftplayers can return to the place where they found it, and the offering will summon Otto, awarding them with a cool new mount to join theirDragon Isles adventure.
