Baldur’s Gate 3is a massive game, one that certainly does not let up, even into its third act. This last section of the game takes place in the titular city of Baldur’s Gate. The city’s size can be overwhelming at first, and it is chock-full of hidden treasures.
TheAmulet of The Devoutis a useful accessory for any character that uses Channel Divinity spells. These are spellsthat Clerics can usewith their own unique charges, such asSpeak with Animals, Read Thoughts, and Cloak of Shadows. Clerics can only have two charges for these spells, but the Amulet of The Devout brings it to three. Here is where to find this unique amulet.

How To Find The Amulet Of The Devout
Enter Stormshore Tabernacle
The Stormshore Tabernacle is a place where you can make offerings to the gods for temporary buffs and is located to the left of the Basilisk Gate fast travel point. This is the area where you will first arrive in the Lower Cityafter leaving Wyrm’s Crossing. It’s also where you can meet Mystra through Gale’s companion quest. Vicar Humbletoes is the character tending to the offerings who also sells various items.
Break Into the Tabernacle Basement
You can break intotheOrnate Wooden Hatchin the corner of the tabernacle at coordinates(X:103,Y:-30.)It’s only a 10 skill Lockpicking check to open it. ensure to do it when the vicar has his back turned. You can also split someone off from the party to speak to him as a distraction, so you don’t get caught tampering with the lock.
The basement of the tabernacle has a set of pressure plates and gas pit traps. Walk slowly and carefully, so your party members can spot them using their perception. If you do trigger the traps, you will take some damage from the Holy Fire that will spew out of the vents on the floor. Continue straight down the hall to thelarge chest at the end, which contains theAmulet of The Devout.

The Castigated By Divinity Curse
Stealing from any of the chests in the tabernacle basement will result in the Castigated By Divinity curse. The specific character that steals the item will anger the godsand receive the curse. This affliction willkill the affected characterthe next time they go down and spawn aDevaenemy. you may avoid this curse and Vicar Humbeltoe’s judgment bydestroying the chestsinstead. Smash them with a bludgeoning weapon and pick the amulet off the floor and the gods will have no idea you’ve stolen from them.
