Meta Changes and Bug Fixes For Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific
As is always the case withCall of Duty: Warzone’s integration periods, it did not take long for gamers to recognize which of theCall of Duty: Vanguardweapon additions were the most powerful. While there are several strong options available to players, the Bren LMG andCooper Carbinehave quickly risen to the top of the pick rate charts. Both weapons feature nonexistent recoil when equipped with the right attachments, meaning that they could end up being nerfed in the near future.
With the LMG class always thriving due to its long-range capabilities, and the Assault Rifles being the most balanced options available toCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers, it can be assumed that a new LMG and Assault Rifle will take the top spots once these nerfs eventually happen. The DP27 could end up taking the Bren’s position as a go-to LMG, while the Automaton or BAR could steal the spot of best Assault Rifle. The MP-40 will likely remain viable for SMG users seeking an alternative to an Assault Rifle or LMG. It is also worth noting that the weapon additions coming in Season 2 and beyond will likely be very strong when they are first added toCall of Duty: Warzone, as this has been a consistent pattern with new guns.

As for what these Seasons will bring, players can expect the usual additions. A Battle Pass will come as part of each Season, new weaponry forCall of Duty: Vanguardwill be brought toCall of Duty: Warzone, and additional Operators will join the game’s already massive roster.
Throughout the Seasons,Call of Duty: Warzonewill likely continue to experiment with limited time modes and events. Both types of content have been hit or miss, with the Numbers event and Payload mode struggling while The Haunting and Iron Trials thrived. Regardless, both the events and game modes could tie intoCall of Duty: Warzone’s ongoing narrative, and players can expect to be stopping the mysterious Nazi plot Butcher uncovered in the bunker from Season 1’s intro cinematic.
Much like Verdansk evolved with time, Caldera will likely do the same. This should be great news for players, as many have claimed that the map feels boring - with some even creating their ownpoints of interest for Calderato remedy this. While it remains to be seen where Raven Software will place new areas on the Pacific island, there is a good chance they will be scattered around the Volcano. Currently, a vast majority of Caldera’s points of interest are placed on the outskirts of the map, so filling out the center of the play space throughout the upcoming Seasons would make sense.

Integration With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty2022 is all but confirmed to be a sequel to 2019’s reboot of theModern Warfareseries, and fans can expect it to integrate withCall of Duty: Warzonejust like other recent titles. This integration will likely be teased in one of the last few Seasons ofCall of Duty: Vanguard, with an in-game event unlocking the teaser trailer forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. As for what the event could feature, characters fromCaptain Price’s new version of Task Force 141might interact with players in some way, much like Frank Woods did during the reveal event forCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The integration itself will likely bring the same type of content that has been carried over through other integration periods. This included Operators, weapons, and cosmetics fromCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. A new map is also rumored to be coming at the end of the year, and it will supposedly be comprised oflocations from the originalModern Warfare 2. While it remains to be seen if these rumors are accurate, leaks have indicated thatCall of Duty2022 will feature remastered content from the 2009 classic, so it would make sense forWarzoneto do the same.
As for when this integration could take place, it will likely follow previous patterns and happen one month after the newCall of Dutygame launches.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s leaked launch windowsuggests the game will be dropping a bit early, making its debut in October.
