How To Set Up A Family Gathering In The Sims 4
Like allThe Sims 4activities, The Family Gathering wedding event can be planned by either using the phone or the calendar. Keep in mind that the latter is more flexible, as Simmers can choose a specific day and time. Meanwhile, by using the phone, the event will start immediately. Once players choose a method, select thePlan/Add Wedding Eventoption then chooseFamily Gathering.
The event cost 100$ and it requires a couple of steps to be planned. These steps are:
Invite Sims
Unlike the Wedding event, the Family Gathering only requires two categories; host and guests.The host has to be part of the couple, while the guests can be anyone from the friends or family list, as long as there are more than two. Otherwise, the event won’t begin.
It’s worthy of note that there are no Entertainer and Mixologist categories. However, players can manually hire one of them by clicking on a microphone or a bar, respectively.

Select A Place
There are various locations Simmers can choose from the last category list, like Venue, Beaches, Bars, and so on. But, if players wish to make it more real-life and down to earth, they can always pick one of the couples' Home Lots. There,they can take pictures using anyThe Sims 4cameraat their leisure to always keep the memory.
If Simmers are on the phone, this will be the last step. However, the ones who are planning with a calendar still need to pick a time.Any period is fine as long as it’s between 6 AM to 11 PM. If players wish to later change anything, they can click on the Edit Event option on the calendar.
