ZeniMax Online Studios has been updating and evolvingThe Elder Scrolls Onlinesince it released way back in 2014 and one of the latest changes is giving players a way to earn Crown Crate items through a new currency.

Endeavors inThe Elder Scrolls Onlinewill task players with doing several tasks in order to receive Gold, Experience, and Seals of Endeavor. These tasks include completing quests, selling items to vendors, defeating enemies using Class or Weapon abilities, defeating different types of enemies, crafting specific items, harvesting resources, and stealing items.ESOgamers are typically doing most of these activities as it is but Endeavors bring extra incentive to the table with the Seals of Endeavor.

Seals of Endeavor can be used to purchase any of the currently available Crown Crate items according to ZeniMax Online Studios. Crown Crate items have historically been purchased through real money, but these Seals of Endeavor allow fans of the game to unlock the same content byplayingThe Elder Scrolls Online. Crown Crate items include pets, consumables, cosmetics, and extremely rare Radiant Apex mounts, but ZeniMax Online Studios has officially confirmed that acquired Crown Crate items cannot be converted into gems after being purchased with Seals of Endeavor.

Update 30 is expected to release forThe Elder Scrolls Onlinearound the same timethe Blackwood zoneis added to the MMO which is slated for the middle of June. Each of the Crown Crate items will have its own value and fans ofThe Elder Scrolls Onlinecan expect the rarest items to cost the most Seals of Endeavor.

It’s currently unclear whether or not future Crown Crate items will become available for purchase with Seals of Endeavors as well but it’s likely that they will after being available for real-world currency first. Dailies and weeklies are nothing new to MMOs but it isn’t often that a developer makes purchasable content available in-game with a new currency. Considering how popular these Crown Crate items are to fans ofThe Elder Scrolls Online, it would be fair to assumemore Radiant Apex mountswill pop up in the near future.

The Elder Scrolls Onlineis available right now for Google Stadia, Mac, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It will release for PS5 and Xbox Series X on Jun 30, 2025.
