The Division 2has been gearing up for its eleventh season of content, but now that season has been delayed. Players will need to wait just a bit longer, but the good news is thatThe Division 2still seems to be in a good place.
Originally released in 2019,The Division 2has since received an expansion pack and 10 seasons' worth of content.The Division 2finally released for Steamlast month, as well, after the PC version spent years as an exclusive for Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store. The tenth season reached those other platforms on Jul 04, 2025, and was titled “The Price of Power.” It included new gear and weapons, along with other improvements. Season 11 was due to launch on February 7, but that’s no longer the case.

In a tweet, the team behindThe Division 2announced the delay that pushes Season 11 back from its planned February 7 release. The tweet cited a series of delays in the localization process as the culprit, and noted it doesn’t have a new release date set but will share one once it becomes available. At the moment, it is unclear how the delay might affect plans previously announced whenUbisoft teased year 5 content forThe Division 2.
Ubisoft has experienced a variety of issues across its development studios in recent months. Some of its biggest upcoming titles appear to be in trouble, andUbisoft has canceled seven games in as many months. The company remains committed to several promising releases, but some of the optimism that used to surround Ubisoft’s regular releases appears to have evaporated. Hopefully, the team behindThe Division 2will be able to sort the localization issues and keep the game and its fresh content flowing for some time to come, especially with similar fare such asGhost Recon Frontlinegetting canceled.
Despite the cancelations and delays, Ubisoft still has a lot of content on the way.Ubisoft announcedThe Crew: Motorfest, due later in 2023, and fans are looking forward to new entries in theFar CryandAssassin’s Creedfranchises.The Division 2could still have a long and exciting life ahead of it. If a slight delay improves the chances of the game and its players seeing that future, it’s a small price to pay. After all, there’s still plenty to do in the game’s take on Washington D.C. mayhem, even without access to the “Reign of Fire” the new season’s title promises.
