After its initial announcement back in April, THQ Nordic’s Digital Presentation event showcased a variety of games coming from the publisher. This presentation event showed off trailers for a number of games that have been announced, such asAEW Fight Forever,Alone in the Dark, andDestroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed, among others. One of these is an extreme racing game known asStuntfest: World Tour, featuring a number of ways to race and traverse environments.
Stuntfestwas first announced at the end of June, where it showed the player being able to eject from their cars, where they could open up a set of wings and fly around the course with a jetpack. Theplayer can use their car to execute gravity-defying tricks, flying through the air like a ragdoll to get ahead. Players can even crash their cars in order to eject themselves to get tons of momentum and bounce on mats to get further ahead of the competition. These tricks and more were demonstrated in a recent trailer for Stuntfest, which indicates that a playtest will be taking place over the weekend.

This latest trailer forStuntfestshows the player character being able to drive a number of vehicles in wacky racetracks in the air, with 18 players all competing against each other in an elimination-based competition. The various types of games that players can participate in include a death race and a battle royale elimination crash derby. Players can participate in these contests this weekend, as the game will be conducting its first playtest during this time, from August 12-13.
Stuntfestprovides a number ofcustomization options for players' carsand can be upgraded in a variety of ways as well. According to the game’s Steam page, there are a variety of avatars that can be selected by the player, which includes a famous in-universe streamer and a punkster granny, giving multiple skin options to choose from.
This momentum-basedgameplay of fast carsand ejecting from them as they crash allow for players to turn into living projectiles, with them being able to find shortcuts or turn their chances around and get a last-minute upset. A variety of gadgets can also help enhance a player’s momentum while also being able to form their car around their character and get back on the road in an instant. This playtest should allow players to get to grips with the extreme racing gameplay and learn some tricks involving the game’s momentum.
