UltraRareProtege21 took to Reddit to share a video of, for lack of a better descriptor, a bug of Spider-Man turning into an actual spider during a battle inMarvel’s Avengers. The video shows what looks like a mechanical spider that merges with Spider-Man, almost as if the metal spider was a mech with Spider-Man in the cockpit. However,Spider-Man’s web swingingremains intact, so the gameplay remains unchanged outside the giant spider visually in the way of what’s happening on screen during gameplay. Currently, there doesn’t appear to be an explanation provided on how the bug occurs.
Fans flooded the comment section of the video to poke fun at this spider bug. Comments like pointing out the meta nature of the bug, how Spider-Man took the iron spider suit too seriously, and even fans that comically suggested that this was the new Spider-Man suit. Regardless ofthe state ofMarvel’s AvengersDLC, this bug is certainly humorous enough to make fun of as it is not a game breaking mechanic, assuming that it is not a common occurrence among the community of players forMarvel’s Avengers.
With the recently released summer skins and with speculation suggesting that the nextrumored character DLC could be Bucky Barnes, that being the Winter Soldier himself inMarvel’s Avengers, the continuous stream of content for the live service game might smooth things over for fans. Players were also pleasantly surprised with the inclusion of the Iron Man battle damaged Mark-85 armor fromAvengers: Endgamethat was present during the final battle, as Crystal Dynamics continues to support the game with an abundance of inspired content to release ranging from the vast history of the comics and movies.
Marvel’s Avengersis available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
