InStardew Valley, weapons can drop from monsters, be found in chests in the mines, or be purchased from the Adventurer’s Guild. After some time in the game, players may have a growing stock of weapons that they no longer need and will be looking for a way to trade them in for some quick cash. They may also want to make some inventory space for thenew Infinity weaponsthat have been added to the game.
The only place in all ofStardew Valleythat players can offload their old weapons is at the Adventurer’s Guild; they cannot be sold through the shipping box like other goods and items. The Adventurer’s Guild is located on the Mountain east of the Mines, and is staffed by Marlon and Gil.

Players will be able to sell excessweapons, boots, rings, andmonster dropsto the Adventurer’s Guild for different sums of gold. The only weapons thatcannotbe sold to the Guild areSlingshots.
The Guild is open from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.once the “Initiation” quest is completed.

The rarer and more powerful the weapon, ring, or boots, the more money the player can earn for them at the Adventurer’s Guild.
Players should always be certain they actually wish to sell something before parting with it, as getting it again can be expensive.
Other Services at the Adventurer’s Guild
Stardew Valley’s Adventurer’s Guild also provides players with one more vital feature: anitem recovery service.
Any player who is unfortunate enough to pass out from low health in the Quarry Mine, Mines, Volcano Dungeon, or Skull Cavern can recover one lost item, for a fee. The fee is equal to the sell price of the item or item stack, with the exception of non-sellable weapons, which are free to recover. The lost items will stay in the recovery until the next time they pass out, when the items will be replaced with the new lost items, so players will need grab one essential item from their lost loot before risking passing out again.
After killing 1,000 monsters, players will gain access to the back room of the Adventurer’s Guild, which contains a book called Mapping Cave Systems. This book can also be purchased from the Bookseller starting in Year 3, if players are lucky enough for it to appear in the stock. After reading the book, the item recovery service will be discounted by 50%!
Once players have sold off their excess weapons and items, they can then get back to important farm business, likemaking truffle oil, feeding their animals, and taking care of the endless rotation of crops that will need attention.
