New late-game content, alternatives to end-game quests, and a new farm type are also on the way. Rounding out the big announcements was a change to PC multiplayer that will allow up to eight people to play the game together.

The sneak peek image reveals some of the new items and NPC additions. A purple totem can be seen, and some fans noted that the design of the totem differs from the usual warp totems. Some have speculated that it may be a new variety of totem, or perhaps it will be similar to the rain totem and have an environmental effect.
