Sophie Turner will be starring in a brand-new HBO series very soon, but fans are still talking about her unforgettable performance inGame of Thronesas Sansa Stark, the Queen of the North. Given her busy schedule, fans have been wondering whether she has had any time to keep up with herGame of Thronescastmates. Now, thanks to a new interview, they may finally have an answer to that question.

SinceGame of Thronesended three years ago, Turner has been occupied with some big developments in her personal life, including her marriage to Joe Jonas and the birth of her first child. Throughout those milestones, Turner has managed to keep in touch with at least one of her former co-stars sinceGame of Thronesended.

Speaking to Elle UK, Turner said that becoming a mom has helped her stay close to one of herGame of Thronesco-stars: Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in the show. Turner explained that she has seen Harington “quite a bit” in recent times since he has a baby too, with Rose Leslie, no less, who was also inGame of Thronesas Jon Snow’s love interest Ygritte. Turner and Harington have bonded with each other over their newfound parenthood, and they have “both moved on to another step in our lives together,” says Turner.

Naturally, fans were expecting Turner to name Maisie Williams, who playedSansa’s sister Arya Starkin the show, instead of Harington, since the two actresses had previously declared themselves as best friends in real life. The omission of Williams from the interview has led to the resurfacing of past rumors that the two of them have had a falling out. Such rumors stemmed from the fact that Williams was absent for two of Turner’s milestones: her wedding to Joe Jonas in 2019 and the birth of her daughter Willa in 2020.

It would be later confirmed, however, that Williams was indeed present at Turner’s second wedding celebration, and that despite not meeting the baby during the pandemic, she stillkeeps in touch with Turnerand her otherGame of Thronescastmates virtually. In fact, she told Elle that the entire cast is in a group chat where they can all catch up with each other.

Given their incredible on-screen chemistryas blood sisters inGame of Thrones, it’s understandable why fans would be so concerned about their real-life friendship. That said, just because Turner did not name Williams in the Elle interview, does not mean she no longer regards her as a friend. Both actresses have said in previous interviews that they have nothing but love for each other and that they will always be a part of each other’s lives. They even share matching tattoos that read “07.08.09,” representing the date they both found out they landed theirGame of Thronesroles. That alone should be enough to pacify worried fans.
