The Hulk is one of the most popular characters in theMarvel Cinematic Universeand will be showing up in some capacity inShe-Hulk.Spider-Man: No Way Home has opened the doorfor many things in the MCU. However, Walters is more than just the cousin of another superhero — she is significant in her own right. Fans are hoping to see a lot from Season 1, with certain things they are hoping to see above all else.

6A Blend Of Comedy And Drama

She-Hulkwill have ten 30-minute episodes equaling “around six hours of content,” with Feige describing it as a legal comedy. Fans have seen in recent years how legal shows that lean heavily into comedy can actually cover a lot of emotional ground, as with the case ofBetter Call Saul’sbest episodes.

Fans will no doubt be hoping for the comedy in theShe-Hulkshow to be tasteful, witty, and not just the sole focus. Marvel has already proven that they are able to weave in comedic moments, but the cast and crew will have hopefully strived to achieve a balance between serious and less-than-serious scenes.

5Daredevil

Fans have made it clear for a while that they want the Charlie Cox Daredevil from the Netflix series to return to the MCU. WithHawkeyerecently featuring D’onofrio asKingpin doing the worst thing he’s ever done, and Cox indeed coming back to play Daredevil for a cameo inSpider-Man: No Way Homehas opened the door for future appearances.

With Walters being a lawyer for superheroes, she and Daredevil have crossed paths many times in the comics, both in their She-Hulk and Daredevil personas as well as their Walters/ Murdock personas. All of this means that fans are reasonably expecting to see Daredevil make another appearance, at least a cameo, in theShe-Hulkseries.

4Superhero Cameos

With Jennifer Walters being a lawyer for superheroes, it is reasonable for fans to expect to see cameos from multiple superheroes. There is a precedence for this with the Sokovia Accords, which are still in place in the MCU. Maybe somecomic characters will make a cameo debutin the series.

Whether it’s superheroes that need legal defense against their purported breaking of the Sokovia Accords, or simply superheroes that are just asking her for representation but get turned down, there’s definitely room for cameos.

3Unique Fighting Style

While Marvel has always been pretty good at making individual heroes have their own unique, distinct fighting styles to go with uniqueages, heights, and more, fans will be hoping for them to continue. She-Hulk is known for a more elegant but strong fighting style compared to her cousin, who simply smashes through everything.

She-Hulk is incredibly strong, but not as strong or as bulky as the Hulk. As such, it will be appropriate for the cast and crew to ensure that She-Hulk’s fighting style in the series feels distinct from both the Hulk and other heroes that have come before her.

2Great Characterization

While the Marvel shows released thus far have generally been well-received, there have been criticisms over their characterization of characters, with many falling short of having a satisfying level of development and screen time. This lackluster characterization has, at times, dampened the immersion for viewers, withThe Falcon and the Winter Soldierhighlighted for not paying enough attention to too many characters. While there have been plenty ofgreat one-off Marvel villains, the ones as of late haven’t been quite so impressive.

She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters is a fantastic character, as is Bruce Banner and the titular hero’s supporting characters. It would be a shame if the series were to fail to develop their characters accordingly and balance out the screen time to the most important characters.

1Expansion Of The Hulk Character

Due to contractual issues, the Hulk character can no longer appear in any solo films. This is not new, and Marvel has worked around this for years by having Bruce Banner/ Hulk appear inThe Avengersfranchise andThor: Ragnarok. However, this obstacle has led to the Hulk having less development and screen time compared to other superheroes, and coming across asless powerful in the MCU than in the comics.

She-Hulkwill see the return of Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and provide an opportunity for more focus on the character beyond what’s been explored in the movies. The character has been a fan favorite for many years and it’ll be a shame if the cast and crew miss this opportunity to provide fans with more Hulk time.
