How to Beat Folding Screen Monkeys
While this might seem tough, it’s one of the easiestboss fights inSekiro. As soon as the boss fight starts, turn around and kill the invisible monkey that spawns on the small patch of snow near the railing. This instantly removes the most annoying aspect of this fight, as the invisible monkey summons hordes of other monkeys that inflict the terror status ailment.
From there, grapple up to the rooftops on the left and use either Gachiin’s Sugar or Gachiin’s Spiritfall, which is obtained fromdefeating the Headless in Ashina Depths. This makes Wolf more stealthy for a limited time, which will help him kill the next two monkeys.

Move forward and grapple to the large tree in the center of the boss arena to find the next monkey. Quickly run at it and slash it as it starts to run away. The monkey is quite frail, and only takes a few hits to kill.
With two monkeys down, continue moving forward and grapple onto the rooftops opposite the entrance to the boss arena. Look right and either a red monkey can be seen. If not, look for its trail of flaming footprints.

It’s easy to track this monkey’s location, but approach it stealthily even with Gachiin’s Sugar active. This monkey can spot Wolf if he is running or even standing, even with increased stealth from items. Crouch walk over to it and look for a backstab deathblow.
The final monkey can be found on the left side of the boss arena on the rooftops. Grapple up and start chasing the monkey. It will run away in a fixed path, which can be easily tracked by its flaming footprints. It eventually heads indoors to a dark room. Grapple upwards into the rafters and the monkey will be there. Once again, it will die in a few hits.
Once all the monkeys are dead, players receivethe Screen Monkeys Memoryand the Mortal Blade.
How to Find the Invisible Folding Screen Monkey
The invisible monkey can be found by tracking its footprints in the snow. Players can kill the invisible monkey right at the start of the fight with ease but if they fail to do so, there’s an alternative.
There are multiple patches of snow on the ground in the boss arena, which will show the location of the invisible monkey. Walk through one and continue a bit forward and wait to see the invisible monkey’s footprints. These betray its location, allowing Wolf to cut it down in a few hits.
