If there’s one way to describeSea of Thieves, it’s that it’s an exploration game at its core. Crews of players around the world have enjoyed sailing around the open sea for years now, discoveringtreasure and other unique elementsalong the way. One of these elements is beacons, fire pits that can be lit with a lantern.

There are a total of 12 beacons inSea of Thieves, three for each region. One of these regions is The Wilds. Located in the northeastern part of the map, The Wilds is a gloomy, sinister-looking area that has plenty of islands with large rock structures.
Kraken’s Fall
The first stop on this beacon-lighting journey is atthe coordinates of R-12, which is where the island ofKraken’s Fallis located. This island has a ton of rocks on it and two coves that can be explored. The large island is also the subject of many of the tall tales that crews can take part in during the game.
To find this beacon,players should head to the northern part of the island. There, they should see a peak that has the torch on it. It should be on the lower of the peaks there. Once players go up to the torch, all a crewmate has to do is grab their own lantern and have it lit as they hold it up to the beacon. It should ignite quickly.
Marauder’s Arch
From Kraken’s Fall,sailors should turn their shipto the north and slightly to the west as that is where the next island with a beacon is located. AtQ-3, Maurauder’s Arch is a uniquely shaped island that looks like a backward C on the overview map. True to its name, it has an overhang that players could sail their ship under if they like, but there is no specific reason to do so.

The beacon for Marauder’s Arch is located in the middle of the island, right at the highest point of the arch itself. To get there, players can go to the northern portion of the island and climb up from there. While it is a bit of a trek, it is very easy and accessible as the path is straightforward.
The Crooked Masts
Head south from Marauder’s Arch to make it all the way to an island that is just west of Kraken’s Fall. At coordinateO-11, The Crooked Masts is a huge island that has two mountains on it, one of which looks like a large spear coming out of the ground. Whilethe beacon is located on the smaller of the two mountains, it is very difficult to get to.
The crew should sail to the northern part of the island and attempt to get as close as possible while still being able to aim the ship’s cannon at the peak of this mountain. Then, playersshould use the cannonsto launch themselves to the peak. This will probably be most productive with multiple people in the crew.
