In the build up to the release of theSaints Rowreboot in August, fans have been given access to the Boss Factory, a platform to create their character before the game comes out. One skilled player has created a crossover that nobody saw coming, combiningSaints Rowand the protagonist ofStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
After a nine-year hiatus from the industry theSaints Rowfranchise is finally making a comeback on August 23rd with the release ofSaints Row. Pre-release trailers have emphasized the high level of customization available in relation to the player character. To show this off,Volition has released the Boss Factory, a place for players to customize a character ready for release in a few months time.

It hasn’t taken long for players to get creative with their customization. One dedicated player decided to bring Cal Kestis fromStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderto life in theSaints Rowuniverse. This design comes from Reddit user GoIdBlue, who also shared the code for the character so that others could download the model and use it once the game comes out. Unfortunately, Cal’s likeness coming to theSaints Rowuniverse doesn’t extend to his force abilities, although details have emerged aboutSaints Row’s perks and abilities.
This isn’t the first instance of a fan showing an impressive level of creativity and bringing a character from another title into the Boss factory. Very recently,Joel fromThe Last of Uswas created in the Boss factoryby another player. These crossovers only go to show thatSaints Rowdoes lives up to its promise and truly lets players customize their character to an impressive extent.
TheSaints Rowgames have always boasted a high level of customization, yet if the Boss Factory is anything to by, this will be series' most customizable yet. Fans appear to be having a lot of fun playing around with the character design, Volition will no doubt be hoping that fans find the rest of the game just as enjoyable, if not more. Fans have already been givena glimpse at howSaints Rowwill play, however, it is unknown whether more will be shown off between now and the release date in August.
GoIdBlue may have received inspiration for the design from the recent reveal of Cal Kestis' next adventure. It was recently revealed that the sequel toStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderis coming, it will be titledStar Wars Jedi: Survivorand is set to release in 2023. The second game in the series will continue to follow ex-Padawan Cal Kestis as he navigates the galaxy during the rise of the Galactic Empire.
Saints Rowwill be available on August 23rd for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
