With eight categories to choose from, finding the most effective and powerful weapon can be a real challenge. It may not change the game entirely but it can make the player’s life a little easier and make them feel deadly. Here are the best weapons to use in aRune Factory 5battle.
10Rampage
In comparison tosome other powerful weapons, this may not be the strongest when it comes to the attack damage, only increasing such by 372. However, it’s the effect this twin-blade can grant that sets it above many other selections.
Along with an increase in damage, the player has a five percent chance to deal critical damage to an enemy. This is extremely useful and can quickly turn the tide of a battle, so when combined with the added stun, the player should always feel in control of any fight they get into.

9Cat Punch
As one of the most versatile weapons inRune Factory 5, the Fists can stagger enemies, throw them further away, or just deal some impressive damage. The Cat Punch fists are perfect for this kind of attack andwork particularly well with playerswho love this category of weapons.
This is primarily since it gives an attack bonus of 1411, and has a 5% chance to land a critical hit. It also has a great defense, allowing the player to stay alive long enough to clear the enemy out quickly and efficiently.

8Smash Blade
While the Smash Blade may not do a large amount of damage, it really thrives in its ability to just inflict so many problems onto the enemy while buffing the player at the same time. It has an 1880 attack bonus but has some abilities that force it to be one of the best one-handed swords, or even weapons,in this RPG.

Essentially, while using the Smash Blade the player has a 15% chance to critically hit an enemy and a 12% chance to knock an enemy away from them, granting them a little more time to reposition or get a few extra hits in. It also has some interesting buffs that allow the player to be resistant to poison and critical hits made by the enemy. This weapon is powerful and can easily be a lifesaver against tricky enemies.
7Rune Legend
One-Handed swordsare filled with power, damage, and some useful abilities, but sometimes players don’t need a 5% chance to hit when they’re doing just under 10,000 on their attack bonus.
This is one of the main selling points for the Rune Legend sword. It’s arguably the most powerful of its category and will just wipe the floor with most enemies. On top of the 9999 attack bonus, this weapon also has the same amount for its magic attack bonus, combine that with the six stun the player gets and it creates a weapon everyone should try.

6Fatal Crash
When it comes to hammersinRune Factory 5, many players expect them to be slow. While they’re right, this doesn’t necessarily mean they’re useless. After all, what they don’t have in speed they make up for with power and abilities.
Fatal Crash is a perfect representation of what a powerful hammer looks like. It adds 11,500 to the player’s attack which can fell some powerful enemies if needed. On top of the attack bonus players also get a chance to get a critical hit, and a 35% chance to make the enemy dizzy, a particularly useful effect when players need to do a bit more damage. This weapon is ideal for heavy hitters.

5Twin Dragon Swords
Where the hammer is slow, the twin swords are fast. Dual blades are incredibly useful and typically deal a lot of damage in a short time, which is one of the main reasons that the Twin Dragon Swords are so useful. The amount of damage they produce makes it a feared and deadly weapon to get hold of.

Ultimately, this tool increases magic attacks by 10,000 and normal attacks by up to 12,000. This and the chance to inflict a bit of dizziness will set most players on the path of destruction and success.
4Legion
With the likes of hammers and dual blades or even swords, players have to get up close and personal. InRPGs like this onethat’s not always a good idea. This is where the spears come in and where Legion really starts to shine.
It’s a longer-ranged weapon with the capability to add up to 12,850 normal attacks and 9,000 to their magic attacks. Combine that with increases to both magic and normal defense and a chance to make the enemy dizzy and players are practically covering all the bases they need to stay alive.

3Saint Axe
In an almost celestial sense, the Saint Axe seems to go against what it stands for. Saints don’t typically grant or wield weapons that can destroy enemies as quickly and efficiently as this fantastic axe. Nevertheless, here it is and most players will never want to put it down.
This is primarily due to the extra 13,500 to an attack but is also due to the ability the Saint Axe grants. Unlike many other options, this weapon grants the player a 10% chance to land a critical hit, as opposed to the traditional 5%. This alone can cause some fantastic hits.

2Devil Finger Axe
When comparing the two axes it’s primarily opinion-based, especially when picking which one to use. Nevertheless, while they both match each other in power, the Devil Finger Axe is unrivaled in its abilities, making it one of thebest weapons to use inRune Factory 5.
Such an ability causes the player to hit with a 10% drain. Drain essentially takes 10% of the damage dealt to the enemy and heals the player for that amount. This can be lifesaving and extremely powerful for anyone using this axe.

1Heaven Asunder
While fighting is apopular element of RPGs likeRune Factory 5, not all players want to go in there intending to kill everything they see. This is where a weapon like Heaven Asunder comes in. It has a great attack and still can inflict elements like dizziness but it’s the faint ability that really sets this weapon far above the rest.
Essentially, when using this sword the player has a 50% chance to inflict Faint on the enemy they’re attacking. When successful, the battle will end with very little bloodshed and allow the player to finish the battle with very little hassle. It’s easily the best weapon inRune Factory 5.
