WithThe Division 2being developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, it’s safe to say few expected to see it crossing over with Capcom’sResident Evil. But in an effort to celebrate theResident Evilfranchise’s 25th anniversary,The Division 2players will indeed be able to add someResident Evil-themed cosmetics to their collection as part of a new apparel event. And luckily,Division 2fans don’t have to wait all that long for the event to kick off.

The Division 2crossover event withResident Evilstarts February 2 and lasts until February 15. By participating in the event,The Division 2players can unlock a variety of items related to theResident Evilfranchise. And those that simply log in toThe Division 2while the event is live will get an outfit based onLeon S. Kennedy’s look fromResident Evil 2.

OtherResident Evil-related items spotted in the trailer include a helicopter with the Raccoon City Police Department logo, outfits based on Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, and what appears to be a skin based on the ever-mysteriousUmbrella Operative HUNK. Full details as to what exactlyThe Division 2’sResident Evil25th anniversary crossover event entails have yet to be revealed, but fans should expect more information as we get closer to the February 2 start date.

For those who may not be familiar withThe Division 2’s apparel events, they are essentially limited-time events mainly focused on unlocking cosmetic items.Division 2apparel events were first added to the game a couple of years ago, and serve as a way to keep fans busy and engaged with the content long-term. They may not be as meaty as the episodic content or theWarlords of New Yorkexpansion, but they are still something for players to do.
