Five Ubisoft games will be added to thePlayStation Plus Extraand Premium tiers next week. Sony’s patterns when it comes to the standardPlayStation Plussubscription have been well-established at this point, but PS Plus Extra and Premium are new enough that fans are still learning how it all works. So far, it seems new PS Plus Extra and Premium games are going to be added around the middle of each month, with that pattern holding true for the September 2022 offerings, coming September 20 for PS4 and PS5.

Thenew PS Plus Extra and Premium games for September 2022consist of a nice variety of titles, ranging from triple-A games to smaller-scale indie projects. There should be something for everyone in the new batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games, but there will especially be a lot for Ubisoft fans in particular to look forward to once the new additions are added to the lineup on September 20.

In total, five Ubisoft games will be added to thePS Plus Extra and Premium tierson September 20, with fans able to check them out across PS4 and PS5. Starting September 20, Ubisoft fans with PS Plus Extra and Premium subscriptions are free to playAssassin’s Creed Origins,Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show,Rayman Legends,Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, andWatch Dogs 2.

Ubisoft Games Coming to PS Plus

Out of these, the headliner is arguablyAssassin’s Creed Origins.Assassin’s Creed Originsfirst released in 2017and earned mostly positive reviews from critics, with many hailing it as one of the better games in the long-running franchise.Assassin’s Creed Originsis the game that started adding more RPG features to the series, laying the groundwork for what would come inAssassin’s Creed OdysseyandAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.

WhileAssassin’s Creed Originsis the headliner, another notable new Ubisoft game coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium on September 20 isRayman Legends.Rayman Legendsis one of the highest-rated 2D platformers of the last decade, and it is generally considered a high point for the series.Rayman Legendssupports up to four players in co-op, so those that enjoy local co-op games can play through the whole game with friends.

These additions will mean that many more Ubisoft games are readily available to play across various subscription services. There have been rumblings thatUbisoft+ is coming to consolesat some point, but nothing official to that effect has been announced, and if that is true, it would seem counterproductive for the company to bring its games to services like PS Plus. Fans will have to wait and see if Ubisoft+ ever comes to consoles, but in the meantime, there are plenty of games from the publisher that they can enjoy through PS Plus Extra and Premium.
