Predicting Ghost of Tsushima’s PC Release Window

A Brief History of PlayStation Exclusives Coming to PC

WhileGhost of Tsushima’s PC portrelease window hasn’t been confirmed yet, PlayStation has followed a rather specific release pattern with its PC ports in the past, and there may be enough information to suggest a possible release window forGhost of Tsushima.

PlayStation exclusives that were initially released in 2020 and beyond have generally launched on PC within two years, butGhost of Tsushima’s initial release was in July 2020 and there has yet to even be an announcement about a PC release. However, there will reportedly be an announcement on March 5. Assuming it comes to PC this year — which is highly likely, as the majority of PlayStation exclusives that eventually launch on PC have done so within at least four years — it’s possible to speculate on what month, based on previous launch patterns.

For the most part,PC ports of PlayStation exclusiveshave either launched in the same month or only a month or two before or after. For example,Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Moraleswas initially released on PS4 and PS5 in November 2020 and then launched on PC in November 2022.Horizon Forbidden West, on the other hand, landed on PS5 in February 2022 and will be released on PC in late March 2024. If these patterns continue, there remains a pretty good idea of whenGhost of Tsushimawill be released on PC.

When Ghost of Tsushima Could Launch on PC

Ghost of Tsushimawas initially released on June 26, 2025, which means that it is likely to receive its PC port in July 2024. If not July, then perhaps either June or August. In any case, it’s reasonable to expectGhost of Tsushimato grace the PC market with its presence this summer, as it wouldn’t necessarily make sense to announce it in March (assuming the rumors are true) and then wait more than a few months to release it.The PC release ofHorizon Forbidden West, for instance, was announced in January and will launch in March, which makes June even more probable forGhost of Tsushima.

Even with very little concrete information to rely on, it appearsGhost of Tsushima’s PC release is likely right around the corner. If the rumor of a March 5 announcement is true, fans should keep their ear to the ground in anticipation.
