Titled the “Puni Kyun Light,” the lamp is shaped in the likeness of the iconicElectric-type Pokemon Pikachu. According to the post, the product is made out of a soft material, allowing fans to squish it when touched. Owners can also easily turn the lamp on and off or adjust the light’s brightness by simply tapping on it. This makes it a cute yet very functional addition to anyPokemonfan’s living space.
According to the website, the price for the item is at 3,300 yen or around $25 USD. Fans can already order the lamp via the official Takara Tomy online store, but the actual delivery time for the product is this July 21, 2025. The Pikachu-shaped lamp is also battery-operated, and interested fans will have to purchase them separately if they want to use the item right out of the package. The Pikachu Puni Kyun Light is part of thePokemonPeaceful Place range of products. Other pocket creatures featured in the range include Pichu, Nyasper, and several starters like Rowlet, Piplup, andPokemon Sword and Shield’s Scorbunny.
The themed collection already consists of a variety of differentPokemonproducts and merchandise. Unfortunately, they can only be purchased and delivered in Japan. This makes it difficult forPokemonfans to add the Pikachu-shaped lamp to their personal collections. Hopefully The Pokemon Company will consider releasing the products globally so that more fans can get access to these pocket creature-themed items.
