In the years sinceIngressbegan to develop a cult following, Niantic has become a powerhouse in mobile gaming and AR experiences. The creators behindPokemon GOandHarry Potter: Wizards Unitehave seen a ton of success, despite a rocky original launch forPoGO, and its games have a massive audience. As the core pillar of Niantic games continue to evolve and grow each year, the company has no plans to slow down. In fact, Niantic is currently developing 10+ new projects, with a plan to launch two titles a year going forward.
Those are seriously ambitious plans, especially considering the current economy, but Niantic seems to have a clear roadmap and vision for next few years as the company continues to grow. One key point to keep in mind here is that 10+ new titles doesn’t necessarily mean 10+ new mobile games from the creators ofPokemon GO. That list likely includes some otherAR/mixed-reality experiencesthat fall outside the category of traditional mobile gaming.

Niantic’s Roadmap
In addition to the continued investment in Pokémon GO, Niantic has a multi-year product roadmap with 10+ titles in development made up of games and other forms of AR experiences, with two titles planned to be launched each year.
