An artistically talentedPokemonfan is quickly gaining attention for building an impressive statue of Vaporeon inMinecraft.Pokemonfans are well known for their artistic prowess, regularly churning out headline-worthy works of art. The same can be said forMinecraftplayers, who can construct just about anything imaginable. When the two are put together, the results are nothing short of extraordinary.
A member of the very first generation ofPokemon, Vaporeon is the Water-type evolution of the dynamic Eevee, created when Eevee is holding a Water Stone item. In addition to being one of the most popular Eeveeloutions, the Pokemon is quite popular overall, withVaporeon selected to be a Build-a-Bear plushout of hundreds of options.

TheMinecraftVaporeon statue comes from aptly-named Reddit user u/VaporeonMaker, who posted their impressive creation to one of the site’sMinecraftforums. The artist manages to expertly recreate just about every detail of the Water-type, from its large tail-fin, to the spiked ridges along its spine, its neck frill, as well as its head fins. The Vaporeon statue’s coloring is also spot-on, with multiple shades of blue adding detail and dimension. The post is clearly a hit withPokemonfans, with the statue amassing over 5,000 upvotes at the time of writing.

While the Vaporeon statue is certainly popular withPokemonfans, it isn’t the only one to have been recently built withinMinecraft.Just a few days ago, anotherPokemonfan went viral for theirMinecraftPheromosa statue. While it remains unclear exactly how long the above Vaporeon statue took, the fan who made Pheromosa says the process took nearly a week, showing the level of dedicationPokemonfans have to create high-level fan art of their favorite characters.
Minecraftblocks aren’t the only unusual mediumPokemonfans have used to show their Vaporeon love. Another fan has created afree-standing origami figure of Vaporeon, including all of the creature’s major features. The figure includes the identifiable blue coloring, neck frill, horn, and signature long tail-fin, along with Vaporeon’s spine ridges. The regular outpouring of fan artwork of Vaporeon is a testament to the Water-type’s enduring popularity through its many years of existence.
WithPokemonstatues appearing to be regularly created inMinecraft, perhaps the two franchise giants could officially collaborate with one another.The Pokemon Company previously shut downMinecraftmod Pixelmonafter allowing its existence for several years, which lays the groundwork for a potential officialPokemoncrossover, with plenty of fan interest certainly there.
