This gameplay trailer first showed off the party of Junpei, Akihiko, and the protagonist exploring Tartarus, where they first encounter Fuuka Yamigishi, the eventualNavigator for SEES inPersona 3. It also shows off some scenes where the player can talk to Fuuka outside of school, likely as a part of her social link. The showcase also features cutscenes from the game’s story, such as the introduction of Mitsuru Kirijo and her coming to the inexperienced members' rescue in Tartarus on her bike.

The second half shows off the other senior member of SEES, Akihiko Sanada, as he assists his juniors throughout a block of Tartarus. From there, it transitions into a brief battle, where Akihiko summons his Persona Polydeuces, while also giving a quick look at the game’s remade UI. The trailer also ends on the game’s new victory screen, where all four party members do a walk out of battle, with the one who landed the final blow being in the center of the shot. Fans noticed how this screen took a more stylish route that was more reminiscent ofPersona 5’s All-Out Attack splash art victory screen.

After this trailer, Faz, a JRPG-focused YouTuber, points out how the music will likely sound after being re-arranged. This can be seen in a clip from the livestream of the event, where he noticed that it was an arrangement of the song “Afternoon Break,” which can be heard in the original game, commonly heard duringPersona 3’s social events.

Persona 3 Reloadis coming in early 2024 to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
