Equipment is your best friend while exploring and farming for resources inPalworld. These items are unlocked early in the game and play a crucial role in your advancement inPalpagos Island.
Items like Pickaxe and Axe are important to ensure fast and efficient farming of resources, while the Bows and Armor are a must to protect yourself from the Cold and Pal attacks. However, all these items will decay over time as you keep using them; thus, you will need to repair them.
How to Get a Repair Bench
Crafting new items once they are broken can be challenging and will waste a lot of valuable resources. Fortunately,Palworldallows you to repair broken items and make them like new ones. Although repairing items is not free and will require resources to be spent, they are much less in quantity than crafting a new one.
Torepair items inPalworld, you must get theRepair Benchfirst. You will unlock the Repair Bench after you have reachedTechnology Level 2. Unlocking the Repair Bench requires 1 Technology Point, and crafting requires10 Woods and 10 Stones.
Once you have gathered these resources, go to your Build menu bypressing Bon your keyboard. Then go to the Production section and choose the Repair Bench. Place the bench on your base, and then build it by yourself or with the help of your pals.
How to Repair Items
After crafting the Repair Bench, stand near it andpress F to use the bench. A menu on your screen will show all the items in your inventory and their health and condition. You can choose whichever item you want to repair from that list. Broken items will have a red repair sign over their picture. Restoring an item will be half the cost of its production. Once you have selected the item you want to repair, click theRepair buttonon the right window of the menu.
It is also important to remember that your pals won’t help you repair items; you will have to do it on your own. So don’t leave the items on the Repair Bench, hopingthe palswill take care of them. We highly recommend you repair items before you head off for farming or exploring to avoid any unfortunate events due to broken items.
How to Repair Structures
Besides items, you can also repair items like ranches, cooking campfires, and other such items. However, the process is slightly different from repairing items on a bench. You must craft theRepair Kitfrom your workbench to repair structures. The Repair Kit will unlock atTechnology Level 3, requiring 5 Fibre and 5 Stonesto be crafted.
Once you have crafted a Repair Kit and have it on your base, stand in front of the structure you want to repair and thenpress ‘4’on your keyboard to repair the structure. One repair kit will be used to repair a structure. Thus, you will need to craft multiple Repair Kits to repair multiple structures on your base.
