Even thoughOverwatch 2has dominated most of the headlines in the past few months, Blizzard continues to push forward with new content for currentOverwatchplayers. Seasonal events have continued to appear as expected with brand new hero skins including theunique looking Face Changer Sombra skinfrom the Year of the Rat event and Snow Angel Mercy during the Winter Wonderland. The next big challenge mode has finally arrived and players can pick up another unique skin for Ashe.
The latestOverwatchmini event follows in the footsteps of past challenges like Mercy’s Recall and even this year’s Halloween Terror which featured the highly sought afterDemon Hunter Sombra skin. Ashe’s Mardi Gras Challenge features the sharpshooter wearing her best Fat Tuesday party outfit complete with mask, top hat, and the traditional green, purple, and gold colors. Better yet, he robotic bodyguard Bob also gets in on the fun with his own unique look as well.

Thankfully, Blizzard is continuing its trend of how players can unlock the skin, moving away from the old tried and true RNG lootbox method to something a little more reasonable. Here’s how to unlock Mardi Gras Ashe inOverwatch.
How To Unlock Mardi Gras Ashe
As expected, players will need to bewinning matches during the next two weeks. In total, players will need to win nine total games to earn the colorful skin. This can be done within Quick Play, Competitive Play, or any Arcade mode. A tracker will keep tabs of the total wins at the top of the screen, similar to past events as well.
Rewards
While the Ashe skin may be the ultimate reward and end goal for many players, Blizzard is offering a few additional items during the length of the event as well. Winning three games unlocks two player icons ofAshe and Bob, while six wins earns a new Mardi Gras spray.
If players head to Twitch.tv to check out some participating streams for even more rewards. These are based on the total watch time and can unlock a total of 5 additional sprays. Two hours earns the first spray, four hours unlocks the next two, and watching for a total of six hours earns the final two. These include a festive Wrecking Ball, bead heavy Zenyatta, Torbjorn and Brigitte enjoying some snacks, King of Mardi Gras McCree, Party Lucio, and Masquerade Reaper.
Players have until March 9 to grab as much loot as they can before the festival ends, which should be plenty of time to score some wins in the game as well asthe newly added Experimental Modeand perhaps have Twitch.tv running in the background for some bonuses.
Overwatchis available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
