Activision Blizzard has confirmed a Mythic skin forOverwatch 2hero Kiriko known as Amaterasu that offers players a few different looks to choose from. The release ofOverwatch 2already included a plethora of cosmetic options given that all the skins from the original game carried forward, but each season gets even more, with Season 3 focusing on the Mythic Kiriko.WithOverwatch 2Season 3 set to begin tomorrow, Activision Blizzard has confirmed numerous details about the latest content drop which includes an impressive Mythic Kiriko skin. Each rollover to a newOverwatch 2season often has similar offerings to the one before it while Blizzard continues to implement unique things like Amaterasu Kiriko to distinguish one from the other. Among the videos was one focusing specifically on Amaterasu Kiriko and her three different looks that were first teased intheOverwatch 2Season 3 trailerthat accompanied a roadmap. The clip proceeds to show off Amaterasu Kiriko in yellow, purple, and red from multiple angles, with some scenes even portraying theOverwatch 2launch hero in action and unleashing her ultimate ability.

Despite having a similar base design, the Amaterasu Kiriko’s three different color variants provide players with some options that they may not otherwise have with another skin. GivenOverwatch 2’s battle passmodel, it’s likely that players will have to progress through many tier levels that require they play several games before unlocking the Mythic skin and its different colors. Along the way to the impressive Kiriko Mythic,Overwatch 2players may also unlock cosmetics for Junkrat, Moira, Reaper, and more, expanding on the lineup that kicked off with the original game and the first two major content patches of its sequel.

WhileJunker Queen Zeus inOverwatch 2Season 2 and Mythic Genji from Season 1 offered battle pass owners unique skins to choose between, Amaterasu Kiriko may be able to draw in more fans due to its custom nature. Because Season 3 is set to release tomorrow, players may see progressively more of Amaterasu Kiriko in multiplayer matches as more fans acquire the Mythic and choose their favorite variant of the new skin.
