The world ofOne Punch Manis inhabited by all kinds of monsters. Based on the damage that they are capable of causing, each monster is assigned a disaster level. It starts with Wolf and goes all the way up to God. To counter these threats, the Hero Association uses heroes.

Like the monsters, heroes have a hierarchy as well. The lowest class C-rank heroes are sent to deal with the lower threat levels, while the S-rank heroes fight against monsters that can destroy multiple cities. The S-rank heroes are undoubtedly very strong, but someOne Punch Mancharacters transcend this classification altogether.

7Saitama

After his heroics in the Monster Association arc,Saitama was promoted to A-rank. While the rank still doesn’t do him justice, more characters have started taking him seriously. Saitama is still the strongest character in the series, and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon.

His physical abilities are on a completely different level from any other character in the story. Not only has he taken down multiple Dragon-level threats in a few punches, but he has even beaten Garou, who had borrowed strength from God. The best thing about Saitama is that he keeps on growing with every fight, so it is nearly impossible for an individual to reach the same level as him.

6Blast

Blast isthe No. 1 S-rank hero, but his strength puts him above all the other heroes. There is an enormous gulf between the power of Blast and the next S-rank hero. For the majority of the story, Blast didn’t make a single appearance. When Garou fought Saitama, Blast had no other choice but to step in to ensure that Earth wouldn’t be destroyed by the impact of their punches.

Blast has faced God, and Cosmic Fear Mode Garou, successfully surviving both encounters. With his speed, Blast was able to blitz Flashy Flash, a hero renowned for being extremely quick. His biggest strengths are gravity manipulation and portal creation. By combining these two abilities, he can simultaneously attack and defend.

5Psykos-Orochi

Psykos-Orochi was a Dragon-level threat and it was a combinationof two of the strongest members of the Monster Association. After being humiliated by Saitama, Orochi decided to absorb Psykos. While he couldn’t completely control Psykos, the two merged to form an incredibly powerful monster.

In this form, they could take on several S-rank heroes at the same time. The main reason for their strength was that they retained the abilities of their individual forms, which were obviously amplified when they merged. One of their energy-based attacks managed to slice through the Earth’s surface. If the attack made contact with an S-rank hero, they would have most likely died.

4Garou

Following his defeat at the hands of Saitama, Garou is back training under Bang, who hopes that his student will take his place in the Hero Association. Garou is an extremely talented fighter who evolves in a fight. The stronger his opponent is, the higher his chance of improving.

Psykos and Orochi merge

In the Monster Association arc, Garou was granted powers by God, which caused the villain’s power to surge and reach such a high level that his punches were emitting strong radiation. He gave Saitama a good fight but still fell short. Regardless of his defeat, Garou can perfectly handle most S-rank heroes.

3Boros

Boros was the first dangerous opponent that Saitama ever fought. The extraterrestrial being came to Earth after hearing about a prophecy that mentioned a powerful being residing on the planet. Boros, who had previously fought and defeated several fighters, was facing the same dilemma as Saitama. All the individuals that he fought couldn’t stand up to his might, which is why the prophecy attracted him.

When Saitama and Boros came face-to-face, it was quite apparent that they were serious about their duel. Boros caused Saitama a lot of trouble with his incredible speed and power. As the battle dragged on, Boros removed all his limits and went all out. The sheer force of the energy that Boros emitted was strong enough to vaporize everything in its path. Needless to say, he was head and shoulders above most S-rank heroes.

2God

The character “God” is a mysterious figure, who has only appeared a few times in the series. God seems to be an omnipresent character who can appear anywhere and at any time. God is known for being interested in individuals who have great potential. So far, they have shown interest in Blast, Garou, and Saitama.

God gave Garou only a fragment of their power, which allowed the Hero-Hunter to fight Blast and, to a certain extent, Saitama. This implies that God is extremely strong, and they should be able to defeat S-rank heroes without any problems.

1Blast’s Team

Recently in the manga, it was revealed that Blast was in another dimension with his comrades. While these characters have yet to be involved in any battle, it is fair to presume that they operate at a high level. Two of the characters on Blast’s team look similar to Boros and the Beast King, which has led to many debates.

At the moment, there is not much data available about these characters, but keeping in mind that they work with Blast and help him deal with interdimensional threats, it is plausible to assume that they are stronger than an average S-rank hero. They will undoubtedly feature in upcoming chapters, and hopefully, fans will be able to see them use their abilities.
