While many gamers have swapped to an all-digital library, there are some benefits to buying the physical version ofNintendo Switch Sportsfrom a brick-and-mortar store. The physical version of the game comes with the Switch leg strap accessory, which allows for added functionality inNintendo Switch Sportssoccer. Plus, those that pre-order the physical version of the game from Walmart can get their hands on an exclusive pre-order bonus.
Walmart has revealed that those that pre-orderNintendo Switch Sportsfrom the store will get their hands on aNintendo Switch Sports-themed water bottle. The water bottle features the game’s logo as well as icons representingall six sports featured inNintendo Switch Sportsat launch: volleyball, badminton, bowling, soccer, chambara, and tennis. So if someone is planning on pre-orderingNintendo Switch Sportsanyway, they may as well do so through Walmart to get a free water bottle with their purchase.
Those that still decide to buy the digital version ofNintendo Switch Sportsinstead of a physical copy should know that they aren’t out of luck when it comes to the leg strap, at least. The accessory will be sold separately, plus it comes bundled with thepopular exercise gameRing Fit Adventure, so it’s possible that some Switch owners may already have one lying around.
