With the game originally hittingSteam, Epic Games Store players will be able to experience the classic platformer when it debuts for free next week.

Cave Story+joins a lineup of great games that have come to the Epic Games Store in recent weeks, includingGhostbusters: The Video Game, Blair Witch, Elite Dangerous,andLayers of Fear 2.Seeing as players can set up an account with Epic Games for free and can keep the games permanently, it’s easily one of the most enticing offers available in the gaming sphere.

As for other free game services, it seems this month will come with some notable goodies.PlayStation Plusplayers will get access to three games, includingJust Cause 4, Rocket Arena,andWorms Rumble.Meanwhile, Xbox Games with Gold players will be able to hop ontoThe Raven: Remastered, Bleed 2,Saints Row: Gat out of Hell,andStacking.

Some fans aren’t all too pleased with Microsoft’s lineup for December, however, criticizing the company for offering lackluster games. After seeing titles likeBugsnaxfeature prominently on PlayStation’s November free game lineup, it’ll be intriguing to see whether both companies offer more next-generation titles in the coming months.
