WhenNintendofirst announced itsXenoblade Chronicles 3Direct, many were excited and upset. The former camp was happy was because of this single-game focus style, while others were upset because they wanted to see more than a game that had already shown plenty. Rumors suggested that it wouldn’t be the onlyNintendoDirect this month.

In fact, one random internet user accurately predicted the date and length of theXenoblade Chronicles 3Direct and suggested another Directone would happen this week. Collectively, rumors are suggesting that Nintendo and Sony both are set to end the month strong, and so far, at least the Nintendo rumors have been proven correct.

Nintendo has announced its second Direct of June 2022, set to take place on Tuesday, June 28, at 6 am PT / 8 am CT. Fans hoping forPokemon Scarlet and Violetnews, much lessBreath of the Wild 2news, should temper their expectations accordingly, as this is not a traditional or E3-level first-party Direct. Instead, Nintendo has confirmed that it’s a Direct Mini: Partner Showcase.

It is scheduled to last roughly 25 minutes and will focus on third-party titles coming to the Nintendo Switch. Many are hopeful forPersonagames on Switchor some new pixel remasters, but otherwise, it’s anyone’s guess as to what else may be there. Outside its existence and recent reports that it would focus on third-party titles, nothing about this Direct has leaked online. That means there should be surprises aplenty, as well as some new information on beloved third-party titles.

With it taking place tomorrow, there’s not much likely to legitimately be leaked either. Still, fans have reasonable expectations since it’s confirmedno first-party Nintendo titleswill be there, and it’s not a long wait either. As of this writing, it’s essentially just 24 hours away. Really, the only question some may have after this is when there will be another Nintendo Direct at the E3-level.

The summer isn’t over yet, of course, and it’s possible Nintendo hosts a big showcase before its end. It’s unknown if it’ll show off more games beyond 2022, but the Switch has a solid slate of games that many fans would love updates on. At the very least, more Pokemon Directs seem likely asPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s release datenears.
