Fans of the movies will be pleased to know about a new trailer that’s been released for a co-opJumanjigame titledWild Adventures, coming on November 3. The short trailer showcases the characters from the new films jumping, running and fighting through jungle and snow-dusted environments.Jumanji: Wild Adventuresis a strange departure for the studio behind it, as it’s being developed by Cradle Games, the studio responsible for theSouls-inspired sci-fi action RPGHellpoint, which released in 2020.

The gameplay ofWild Adventuresseems to offer a lot of variety. The trailer shows moments where characters are running away from lava or spiderstoward the screen a laCrash Bandicoot. Other moments look like a 2D platformer or an arcade-style top-down beat-em-up. While it’s unknown ifJumanji: Wild Adventureswill be playable solo, there was a chunk of the 38-second trailer dedicated to showing single characters on screen running and flighting enemies.

It seems odd that a co-opJumanjigame such asWild Adventuresis releasing in 2023 without a major movie to back it up. It’s been over three years sinceJumanji: The Next Leveland there have been rumblings about a fourthJumanjifilm in the works. With bothWelcome to the JungleandThe Next Levelhaving been released in December of their respective years, it’s possible thatWild Adventures' November release date is an indicator that the next unannouncedJumanjifilm is also aiming for this holiday season. If true, the movie announcement should be happening soon seeing that it’s already June andmajor Hollywood blockbustersalmost always have long marketing lead-ups.

Jumanji: Wild Adventuresis coming on November 3 to PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
