Robloxand Netflix have announced that the two companies are collaborating on a new digital amusement park experience calledNetflix Nextworld.Robloxand Netflix have teamed up multiple times in the past, with the streaming platform having created its own group and world to promote various shows. Some of the shows Netflix has promoted include the likes ofSonic Prime,Stranger Things, and more through special events.
These special events usually gave fans an experience inRobloxthat replicated the world of the show that was being promoted. For example, theStranger Things: Starcourt MallRobloxevent gave fans the chance to exploreStranger Things' iconic Starcourt Mall, along with giving players quests that could be completed to obtain Star Coins, allowing items to be purchased through the in-game shop. While the event was shut down sometime last year, it appears Netflix is replicating that feeling by giving fans access to a bunch of worlds inspired by the streaming platform’s lineup of available TV shows viaNetflix Nextworld.
Netflix Nextworldis a digital theme park inRobloxthat allows fans to explore the worlds of their favorite shows. Some of the shows currently represented inNetflix NextworldincludeStranger Things,Cobra Kai,the live-actionOne Pieceseries, andRebel Moon, among others. All of these 3D interactive spaces are available for fans to explore now through an Early Access launch.
Netflix Nextworldhas three worlds available in this launch period, which can all be accessed through a hub world. These experiences areStranger Things: Escape from Hawkins High,One Piece: East Blue Brawls, andRebel Moon: Outskirts Battle. These worlds are guarded by various characters from the shows, with players being able to meet Dustin,Monkey D. Luffy, and Jimmy in this game.

Players can also participate in a gaming side quest in this newRobloxexperience by playing various mini-games. These include a guessing game called Is It Cake, to a karate-themed balancing boardgame based onCobra Kai. As players explore these different worlds, they can collect objects and wearables from different shows and movies to decorate themselves or their “Fan Pod,” which acts as a home base that can be kept private for the player or be opened for friends to visit.
As players get more currency inNextworld, they can get more exclusive items, such as free limited User-Generated Content like aOne Piece-themed flag. Other social events and premieres will take place inNextworldas well, such as a limited-timeJurassic World: Chaos Theoryevent that will take place on May 17.
