One For All is an incredibly powerful and special quirk that has been passed down by various people in the world of My Hero Academia. Just like the quirk One For All itself, the many users of this power are special.

One For All is a quirk that was created after All For One passed on a power stockpiling quirk to his brother. However, his brother already had a quirk. Just like him, quite a lot ofthe other users of the One For Allalso had a quirk of their own. While these quirks were certainly not as strong as the One For All, they possess incredible power that has, over time, grown stronger and now aids Deku in battle.

Yoichi Shigaraki MHA

Updated on July 27, 2025, by Rei Penber:In the Final War Saga of My Hero Academia, the One For All Quirk has been a very important talking point among the fans, and of course, that only means that the author has given quite a lot of exposition to it. All the users of One For All, now known as the vestiges, have been extremely important, especially in Deku’s fight against Shigaraki, and subsequently, All For One as well. All of them have had a lot revealed about their pasts, the control of their powers, and of course, their eventual fates as well. Given the current situation in the final battles in My Hero Academia, the fates of the original quirks of the former One For All users shifted drastically. With that said, this list has now been updated.

1Quirk Bestowal

Quirk Bestowal was certainly the weakest quirk that any One For All user possessed and this power belonged to Yoichi, the first user of the One For All. Essentially, he only had the power to pass on a quirk from one user to another.

Given that he didn’t have anything else, all he could do was pass on this quirk to someone else. However, whenAll For One gave him the ability to stockpile power, it fused with Quirk Bestowal and ended up creating One For All, which is one of the strongest quirks ever.

2Gearshift

Gearshift is an incredible ability that allows the user to shift the speed of any object that he touches, even managing to ignore the laws of inertia.

The user can change their speeds up to four times, with the fourth being the top gear. Theoriginal user of this quirk was Kudo, who led a resistance against All For One at one point.

My Hero Academia Fa Jin Explained Deku and One For All’s Users Season 6 Episode 21

Ultimate Fate Of Gearshift

In the case of Gear Shift, fans knew that this was a power that Deku could not use for too long. This was simply down to the fact that the side effects of using this ability consistently were way too great. Deku saw the side effects firsthand when he fought against Shigaraki. However, because he would have lost this battle, Kudo, the original user of this Quirk, came up with the plan to be transferred to Shigaraki. Gear Shift was eventually transferred to Shigaraki, and, as a result, Deku has now lost this power permanently.

3Fa Jin

Fa Jin is an incredible Quirkthat allows the user to stockpile kinetic energy and then release it all at once at any particular time.

This is a very dangerous power that belonged to Bruce, the third user of One For All. This power is now stronger than ever before and is being utilized by Deku through the One For All itself.

Shinomori Hikage My Hero Academia

Ultimate Fate Of Fa Jin

Fa Jin might just have been Deku’s most useful ability, given that this power granted him tremendous amounts of kinetic energy after physical work. It also allowed him to use Faux 100% of One For All, and now, that isn’t possible anymore. This is simply down to the fact that Deku transferred the Quirk to Shigaraki, meaning that he has lost it forever.

4Danger Sense

As the name suggests, Danger Sense is quite a useful quirk, the utility of which is incredibly high. This quirk allows the user to sense all sorts of danger around themselves, ranging from a deadly attack, to even evil intentions or malevolence.

Danger sense belonged to Hikage Shinomori, the fourth user of the One For All. This quirk has, since then, grown stronger and it is currently being used by Deku as well.

Diagoro-blackwhip

Ultimate Fate Of Danger Sense

The utility of Danger Sense was immeasurable to Deku. This ability gave him a sixth sense in battle and it helped end out tremendously in the face of danger. Unfortunately for Deku, this Quirk was stolen by Shigaraki. It was being wielded by him, and since All For One was in control of his body after, by him as well. Still, it remains to be a great power that Deku commanded with great mastery at one point. Shigaraki, on the other hand, commanded it with just as great control as Deku himself. He was able to avoid several of Deku’s high-speed hits using this power, and retaliate with powerful blows that sent Deku flying.

5Blackwhip

Blackwhip is one of the strongest quirkswielded by Deku and, before him, it was used by Daigoro Banjo. Banjo was the 5th user of the One For All and this quirk allowed him to produce whip-like extensions from his body which gave him quite a lot of versatility in combat.

Under Deku, this quirk is stronger than ever before and has offered him quite a lot of freedom in combat.

Deku Smokescreen Quirk

Ultimate Fate Of Blackwhip

Blackwhip was to be the last quirk that remained with Deku in the fight against Shigaraki. However, when Deku and Shigaraki’s memories collided, all the quirks were transferred, and blackwhip was no exception.

This Quirk is now lost to Deku permanently and fans do not know if it will ever show up again. Deku used it greatly in the fight against Shigaraki, and without this power, he would most definitely have lost the battle for good. The Quirk played its role, and it is likely that it will never return to Deku ever again.

Nana Shimura in My Hero Academia

6Smokescreen

Used by En, the sixth user of the legendary quirk named One For All, Smokescreen is quite a useful ability. It allows the user to produce purple smoke from their body that lets them create an obstruction in the vision of the enemies and, at the same time, give them perfect cover while fighting.

It can also help mask attacks from the user and aid in saving others. For a Hero, this quirk is certainly very useful. Under En, this quirk was very deadly, however, eventually, All For One managed to kill him and he passed on the One For All to Nana Shimura before he died. Currently, this quirk is being wielded by Deku and he has certainly trained it to the absolute best, mastering every single aspect of this power.

Ultimate Fate Of Smokescreen

When it comes to the quirks of the vestiges, Smokescreen might just be the least useful that Deku had. This Quirk allowed him to create, as the name implies, a Smokescreen and an attack from blind spots, however, after Shigaraki stole Danger Sense, this ability was practically useless. Still, Deku made great use of it and confused Shigaraki in many ways, landing powerful blows on him one after the other. That said, when the fight dragged on, this Quirk too was transferred to Tomura, and now, it will likely never return to Deku ever again, which has essentially ended it permanently.

7Float

Float is the quirk of the seventh user of the One For All, Nana Shimura. She was an incredibly powerful fighter and had the ability to levitate and move through the air freely. Float is exceptionally useful as an ability and while certainly not the most dangerous, it can aid one greatly in battle, especially against someone like All For One.

Nana was killed by All For One, just like the other users of the One For All and she ended up passing her Quirk to All Might, who then became the eighth user of this power. From All Might, this power went to Deku, the 9th and the final user of the One For All, under whom this quirk has now fully matured. Deku also has access to Float and this ability is stronger than ever before, given that it has been passed down from one generation to another.

Ultimate Fate Of Float

Float belonged to Nana Shimura, and this ability aided Deku greatly in battle, as it allowed him to avoid Shigaraki’s Decay by simply floating in mid-air. However, as was the case with the vast majority of the Quirks, Float was lost as well. Nana Shimura was with Deku inside of Shigaraki’s memory world. There, Nana stopped her son from hitting Tenko and as a result, this Quirk was eventually transferred as well. Deku will never regain this power.

For now, this Quirk has permanently been lost. While it was certainly a great ability, now, nothing remains of it.
