In fact, his new form, Armored All Might, might actually end up being a bit too overpowered, given the current display that he has put on.
Updated by Rei Penber on 12 Oct, 2024:All Might in his armored form is very powerful. He makes use of this power that allows him to mechanically copy quirks in his battle against All For One in MHA season 7 Episode 21. However, even that power might not be enough to take down the powerful enemy he’s facing.

The End Of All Might
All Might Falls in Battle
All Might was the Symbol of Peace in the world ofMy Hero Academiafor the longest time. After inheriting the One For All from Nana Shimura, the 7th user of the quirk, All Might made this power his own and rose to heights that were unprecedented. He single-handedly reduced villainy in Japan by a significant margin and was hailed as a Hero by everyone. No villain could stand a chance against him, except for All For One. Believed to be the Demon Lord, All For One was the only one capable of taking on All Might in battle and these two have, over the course of history, fought on several occasions. Some of these clashes were never revealed to the fans, while others were illustrated very meticulously by Horikoshi and were concluded remarkably as well.
In Kamino, fans got to witness one particular clash between these two characters that ended up being significant for the character of All Might. At this point, he had already transferred the One For All to Deku, and this meant that he only had wisps of the power left within himself. With those wisps, he could not fight against All For One for an extended period of time and, thus, in this fight, he was largely dominated. However, in the end, he managed to use every single bit of power that he had left within himself and crushed All For One. In the process, his time as the Number One Hero came to an end as he ended up losing his Quirk.

All Might’s Return In The Final War
All Might Fights All For One, One Last Time
In the Final War ofMy Hero Academia, fans got to see the vast majority of the Heroes take a stand against the evil of All For One and his forces. Most Heroes and Hero Students got their fair share of fights in the Final War Saga and it was certainly exciting for the fans to see. These fights were grand and certainly elevated these characters to the very next level. While fans were expecting the vast majority of the cast to have their shining moments in the Final War Saga of My Hero Academia, they were certainly not expecting the Symbol of Peace to make a return. Against all odds, All Might made a return in this war and took one last standagainst All For One.
At this point, All For One was beyond his prime and had reached an unprecedented level of power. He was stronger than he had ever been before and even took care of the likes of Endeavor and Hawks with rather ease. When nobody could stop him, All Might took a stand and stood in front of him. Despite not having a Quirk, he decided to take this monster on in battle, and at his aid, he only had a suit of armor. Fans were incredibly excited to see All Might return with a powerful suit of armor to use in battle against All For One. After the conclusion of the fight between Ochaco and Toga, the attention in the story finally shifted to All Might and All For One and it has, since then, been explored in great detail.

All Might Vs All For One
A Battle Between Arch Enemies
All Might versus All For Oneis quite easily the most iconic fight inMy Hero Academia. These are two of the most iconic characters, and it is safe to say that it is the best rivalry that has been established in the entire series. Despite Deku being the protagonist of the story, it is All Might and All For One who claim the spot for the best fights in the series and that is certainly undeniable.
Their clashes are always exhilarating and invoke a sense of emotion that no other fight in My Hero Academia can deliver. This fight has proven to be no different. Right at the beginning of the fight, fans got to see All Might use his armor and take on a unique appearance, which he calls Armored All Might.
Both spectators and fans expected Armored All Might to be utterly destroyed by All For One in this fight and it was a massive surprise to everyone when that did not happen. Shockingly, All Might appeared to have it in himself to take on this monstrous calamity in combat. In fact, he has fared very well against him despite not having a Quirk. The armor that Melissa has developed for him has turned him into a very amazing fighter. At his aid, he possesses abilities that are similar to the Quirks of his students and those connections that he forged are the source of power for this incredible transformation. This fight is much more even than fans expected it to be, which only means that Armored All Might is incredibly powerful.
Is Armored All Might Too Overpowered?
Armored All Might Has Amazing Powers
In some ways, Armored All Might can even be considered to be overpowered. The fact is, he does not possess any Quirk and all he is relying on is a weaponized armor. Despite everything, he is keeping up with All For One, who is beyond his prime state at this point. All For One has access to countless Quirks and some amazing combinations that are even strong enough to put down Heroes such as Endeavor, but he’s actually being pushed back by All Might, which goes to show that Armored All Might is actually stronger than fans give him credit for. His recreated Quirk abilities are strong enough to stop All For One in his tracks.
For someone to be pushing back All For One in his prime state is a ridiculous feat and, what’s even more impressive is the fact thatAll For One is playing smartand actually has the upper hand right now. All Might is successfully getting All For One to use his rewind powers and revert to weaker states gradually. This means, eventually, he will regress to a state where he is no longer as strong as he would be in his prime. For All Might be able to successfully fight back against him, land great injuries on his body, and force him to use rewind powers again and again is proof that he is actually very overpowered. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Armored All Might is the strongest Hero that fans have seen since All Might himself.
