Great news for fans ofMushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnationas it was revealed that the broadcast of the second cours of the currently airing second season of the anime is set for Spring 2024. The second season officially began airing on July 2, starting with a prequel episode centered on Rudeus' childhood friend Sylphy’s experiences during and after the infamous Teleportation Incident that has become the central focus of this season.
The second season ofMushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnationwill have 25 episodes in total and premiered on Tokyo MX, with Crunchyroll streaming the series as it airs.

TheMushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnationanime series is an adaptation of the light novel series created by Rifujin na Magonote, which was first published on the Narō website from November 2012 to 2015, with the series getting printed under Media Factory’s MF Books in 2013, receiving illustrations from Pixiv artist Shirotaka. A manga adaptation ofMushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnationcreated by Yuka Fujikawa (Gulf Trigger) began serialization in the June 2014 issue of seinen magazine Monthly Comic Flapper prior to the original light novel and manga adaptation being licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment for distribution in English.
The first season of theMushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnationanime series also ran for two cours, with the first running in Winter 2021, followed by a cour in the Fall of the same year. An OVA titled “Eris the Goblin Slayer” was released in 2022 and is available on Crunchyroll.
The news of the broadcast date of the second cours ofMushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnationwas first revealed on the series' official website on Friday, July 7, two days before the broadcast of the official first episode of the second season. The anime is produced by staff at Studio Bind, which also animated the first season of the series and the OVA, while the series is produced by EGG FIRM (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.)Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnationseason 1 director and script supervisor Manabu Okamoto has been replaced by former assistant director Hiroki Hirano, while scripts are now presided over by Toshiya Ono (86script supervision).
Returning staff members include the aforementioned director; primary art director Masakazu Miyake (art director,KONOSUBA: God’s Blessing On This Wonderful World!!), Colourist Makiko Doi (Colour Key, Space Brothers), editor Akinori Mishima and composer Yoshiaki Fujisawa, photography director Shinji Tonsho among several other returning staff members.
