Like any other free-to-play live service game, the main wayMultiVersusis going to keep players engaged for the long-term is by adding new content. Luckily,MultiVersusSeason 1should have plenty of new content for fans to sink their teeth into by the time it wraps up on November 15. In fact, there are at least four new characters on the way forMultiVersusin Season 1, along with two new game modes.

As previously announced, theMultiVersusroster is addingMorty Smith fromRick and Mortyon August 23. Rick Sanchez from the same franchise is also coming toMultiVersusin Season 1, though a specific release date has not been announced at the time of this writing. Fans can also look forward to the addition of Black Adam of DC Comics fame, as well as Stripe fromGremlins. The new game modes, meanwhile, are the Classic Arcade and Ranked modes, which currently lack solid release dates.

While this is all the newMultiVersuscontent that’s been confirmed in an official capacity so far, leaks have given fans a decent idea of what to expect from future updates. If the leaks are accurate, it seemsMultiVersusfans can look forward to characters like Beetlejuice and the Wicked Witch of the West, along withcharacters fromThe Matrixfranchise. Those characters have yet to be confirmed, but data mining efforts have suggested that they are indeed planned for the game.

There are plenty of characters that would make great additions to theMultiVersusroster, but what’s there now should still keep fans plenty busy.
