With the full launch ofMultiVersus, several new characters have been added to thegame’s exciting roster. While the creators have confirmed that all of the game’s characters will be available in the shop, some of the newly featured characters can be unlocked through special events.
Two such new characters are the Banana Guard fromAdventure Timeand Jason Vorhees from theFriday the 13thfranchise, both of which need to be unlocked by completing some easy tasks as of writing this guide.

How to Unlock Banana Guard in MultiVersus
Banana Guard is a newly addedBruiser classcharacter inMultiVersusand one of the game’s strongest Bruisers, along withShaggy,Taz, andBatman.
The Banana Guard can be unlocked inMultiVersusby logging in to the game fortwo days straight. You do not need to engage in any matches to unlock the character; simply logging in to the game’s main screen will contribute towards thelogin reward. Furthermore, logging in for seven days will earn players theLady Banana Guard skinvariation.

Both the Banana Guard and Lady Banana Guard skins can be claimed from the Training section of the Missions menu once you have logged in for the required number of days.
However, the developers have not specified how long this log-in prize would be accessible for players to claim. Because all of the characters will eventually find their way to the in-game market, you will be able to purchase them using fighter cash in the future.

How to Unlock Jason Voorhees in MultiVersus
Jason Voorhees, who appears on Friday the 13th, is another formidable character introduced toMultiVersus’ever-expanding roster in Season 1.
As of the writing of this guide, Jason Voorhees can only be unlocked withSeason 1’s premium battle pass. The Premium Battle Pass costs 950 Gleamium; thus, gamers must purchase this character with real money. However, Jason Voorhees is available as a Tier 1 battle pass prize; therefore, there is not much effort necessary to get this character.
Players who participated inMultiVersus’Open Betawill be able to obtain the characters for free as a prize, as the premium components of the Season 1 Battle Pass are free for them due to their beta testing involvement.
However, gamers who did not participate in the open beta or purchased the Premium Battle Pass will have to wait until Season 2 to access this character. Jason Voorhees is likely to become available in the in-game market with the Season 2 update since every character will ultimately be able to be unlocked with fighter currency.
