Mortal Kombat 11released an eight-second teaser on Twitter today featuring a Tarkatan running through a forest, seemingly being chased. TheMortal Kombat 11video is captioned, “They are koming,” which may imply multiple DLC characters will be revealed on October 8 at 8:00 a.m. CDT.

Mortal Kombatcreator Ed Boon also shared the teaser and said, “Who is chasing that Tarkatan?” Based on clues and previous leaks, fans have put together theories of what could be happening in the video. Some of those leaks have suggestedRambo will be the nextMK11DLC character, causing him to start trending on Twitter.

Rambo was predicted to be one of the next fighters after the Halloween update was datamined, revealing Rambo files. Many fans believe the teaser will lead to a reveal of these three fighters. One has predicted that Rambo is chasing the Tarkatan through the forest, and may fall into a trap set by Mileena, leading to Rain intervening in the fight. Fans also believe that the teaser seems like a horror movie clip, which could hint at the addition ofhorror icon Michael Myers, who has shown up in game files before. Although many characters have been leaked, fans believe the teaser most relates to Rambo based on the forest setting and similarities to scenes inRambomovies.
