How to Unlock the MW3 TAQ Evolvere
As of Season One Reloaded, the only way to unlock the TAQ Evolvere is to complete five of Week 7’s challenge. These range from your bog-standard tasks of killing Operators or Zombiesusing any recommended weapon, and it’s up to you to decide which ones you want to target. None of the Week 7 challenges are that hard, though they mostly ask you to use the Season 1 JAK attachments and conversion kits. Here are all the challenges for your reference:
Get 3 First Blood kills with a recommended weapon
Get 75 Mercenary kills with a recommended weapon
Get 20 kills with the JAK Beholder Rifle Kit for the Tyr
Get 300 kills with the JAK Thunder LMG Kit equippted to the SIdewinder
Get 20 kills with the JAK Signal Burst kit for the Holger 556
Get 300 kills while ADS with the JAK Signal Burst kit for the Holger 556
Get 20 kills with the Rival 9’s JAK Headhunter Carbine kit
Get 300 critical kills with the Rival 9 JAK Headhunter Carbine
Get 30 kills with the JAK Bullseye attachment equipped on a recommended weapon
Get 250 kills with shotguns of Epic (purple) rarity or higher
Get 30 kills with the KR Intlas LSJ-3 optic on a recommended weapon
Clear 5 Infested Strongholds
Get 3 Fury kills with a recommended weapon
Kill 500 enemies with a recommended weapon using Napalm Burst ammo
The TAQ Evolvere boasts an almost perfectly vertical recoil pattern, stopping occasionally for a short leftward detour as it kicks upward. This behavior makes this weapon incredibly accurate, especially when kitted out with the multitude ofModern Warfare 3attachments that decrease its recoil.
This LMG’s ability to switch calibers without requiring a conversion kit is one of its main draws, and swapping between 7.62 and 5.56 will have a noticeable effect on the gun’s performance. If you want the TAQ Evolvere to hit harder and punch through thicker materials, then 7.62 is the way to go. Otherwise, use 5.56 if you prefer more mobility and a faster rate of fire with an optional 200-round magazine option for locking down angles.
