Something to note about the Xbox Series X launch lineup is that many of the games support the Smart Delivery program. For the uninitiated, theXbox Smart Delivery programallows players to purchase one version of a game and play it across the Xbox gaming ecosystem. Something else to note about the Xbox Series X launch lineup is that quite a few of the games will be available to play throughXbox Game Passon day one. This includes asymmetrical multiplayer horror gameDead by Daylight, as well as Microsoft-published titles likeForza Horizon 4,Gears 5,Gears Tactics, and the popular early access gameGrounded. Xbox Game Pass will also allow users to access over 100 older Xbox games as well, giving Xbox Series X owners instant access to a significant number of titles right off the bat.
Beyond launch, there are still some major titles for Xbox Series X owners to look forward to before the year is out. Just a few days after launch, on November 13, the highly-anticipatedCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warwill launch, and then on December 10, the Xbox Series X console-exclusive horror gameThe Mediumfrom Bloober Teamwill be available as well.
