It’s almost time for thefull Red Room Takeoverto steal the spotlight inMarvel’s Avengers, but first the preceding event, Rooskaya Protocols has to run its course. The first half of the two-part event has been live for over a week now, but there are still a few days left for heroes to complete some challenges and earn that animated event nameplate before it’s too late.
Much like the Tachyon Anomaly event, the Rooskaya Protocols drops a handful of new chainsinto each player’s objectives screen. These can look a little intimidating at first, but keep in mind that a player only needs to finish one of them to unlock the event nameplate. There are item and XP rewards for going beyond the first chain and complete others, butMarvel’s Avengersplayers who just want to memorialize the event with a nameplate should focus on one chain (which usually means playing with one hero multiple times).

One important note about these mission chains is that every one of them includes the requirement to collect 300 Rooskaya Protocol Chips off of defeated enemies while Black Widow is in the party. The chips will not drop if the party doesn’tinclude a Natasha player, so players who are using a different hero should be sure to request that companion for every mission until the 300/300 objective has been met.
The remaining objectives mostly require completing one type of mission (or missions from one specific location) and then getting varies kills with different hero-specific powers. Collection the 300 chips is the most time consuming of the tasks, so be sure to keep a close eye on that meter as the final days of the event approach…
