The company has recently revealed that it is hosting a live concert event in Japan, and one of the main features during the activity includes a performance byAnimal Crossing’s famous musician, K.K. Slider.

Since Nintendo has releasedAnimal Crossing: New Horizons' free 2.0 updateand Happy Home Paradise DLC, the company has been silent about future titles. With an upcoming live concert featuring K.K. According to the official Japanese Twitter account ofAnimal Crossing, the live concert will be called “DJ K.K. Paradise Mix.” It will be part of the 2022 Nintendo Live event that will be hosted in Tokyo Big Sight, one of Japan’s major concert venues. The other special performance included in the concert involves theSplatoon 3music group Deep Cut. Happening on October 8 and 9, 2022, the weekend event will have three one-hour performances across each day, and all performances will be the same to keep it fair for all audiences.

Unfortunately, those interested to attend will have to participate in a lottery system to get seats to the actual live event. Nintendo has yet to provide an official link or sign-up page for the lottery system as well. Given the presence of COVID-19, it is understandable for the event’s organizers to limit the number of physical attendees. Fortunately, the final performance happening on October 9 will be streamed online via YouTube Live. This allowsfans ofAnimal CrossingandSplatoonfrom all over the world to view and experience the live concert featuring the game’s iconic characters.

The announcement of a real-lifeAnimal Crossingevent is likely very good news for the series' community. Hopefully Nintendo does not disappoint and actually gives a surprise update during the weekend concert.
