As you explore each new Biome inLego Fortnite, you’ll notice that there are many different forms for each enemy you come across. You can findRollers in the Grasslands, which willdrop regular Shellsfor you. However, you might notice a lot of recipes that call forSand Shells, which come from a different enemy.
You’ll only be able to find Sand Shells in a completely different location from the Grasslands, requiring you to come prepared with higher-level tools and protection. To find this resource in the wild, here’s what you’ll need to do inLego Fortnite.
Where to Find Sand Shells in Lego Fortnite
Sand Shells are quite different from regular Shells inLego Fortnite. Not only will it come from a different enemy, but you can also only find it in theShore Biomes andDry Valley Biomes. You can get this item from Sand Roller enemies, which look similar to Rollers, but they will have a yellow shell and a green top. They look like the creatures in the image above and will be a bit tougher to defeat than your regular Rollers. You’ll want to come equipped with at least anUncommon Longsword or a Rare Longswordandashieldto protect against rolling attacks.
If you’re hunting Sand Rollers close to water, however, you can also justlure them to roll into the water,and they’ll die instantly.
There is no specific location where Sand Rollers seem to appear, but they are oftenpretty close to the water in the Shore and Dry Valley Biomes.They’ll be visible and stick out, so you shouldn’t have much of a problem spotting them. They aren’t incredibly common, so you’ll have to do a bit of searching to find one. After defeating one, you’ll get one Sand Shell in return.
How to Use Sand Shells in Lego Fortnite
Sand Shells are an incredibly important resource that you’ll need to obtain at some point inLego Fortnite. It can be used for many different things, including:
TheCrafting Bench Rare upgradewill be essential to progress through the game and will require3 Sand Shells, 6 Sand Claws,15 Marble Slabs, and12 Knotroot Rods.TheCool-Headed Charmwill be useful for resisting hot temperatures, while theHearty Totemwill give you bonus health whenever you are at full health. Both of these will be significantly useful and make your travels easier.
