Jujutsu Kaisenchapter 261 was shocking for the fans in more ways than one. This chapter finally saw the author tackle the big mystery pertaining to Gojo Satoru’s return and how it was made possible in the first place. Of course, in the chapter, it was eventually revealed that while Gojo was truly back in his physical form, the one inside the body was not Gojo at all.
In fact, it was Yuta, using the body of Gojo in an attempt to take down Ryomen Sukuna, the strongest sorcerer in history. Now, a round 2 between Sukuna and Gojo is due, only this time,the one in charge of Gojo’s body is none other than Yuta.

In JJK chapter 261, fans first got to see Sukunain utter shock upon seeing Gojo’s return. Many fans had predicted that the person in front of Gojo was actually just a ghost. However, there was no way this person could’ve been a ghost as fans did not actually see them from Sukuna’s perspective. This was a third-person perspective, which clearly meant that whichever this person was, was actually in front of Sukuna. This only meant that either Gojo was back, or someone resembling Gojo had returned. Of course, in this chapter, it was confirmed later down the line that this person was none other than Yuta. However, the body certainly did belong to Gojo. This might be confusing to the fans. Simply put, Yuta is utilizing the same technique as Kenjaku to move Gojo’s body.

Fans must remember that Yuta has the ability to copy techniques. His cursed technique is Copy and it allows him to access multiple techniques that he has copied over the years. Using the Copy technique, Yuta was able to Copy Kenjaku’s brain-hopping technique and utilize it to take control of Gojo’s body. Of course, the process was not easy. First, Gojo ended up dying in the battle against Sukuna. When that happened, the body was transported to Shoko, who stitched it up so it was ready for the transfer. Then, Yuta went on his mission to eliminate Kenjaku. With the help of Todo, this was made possible as well. After he died, Yuta managed to copy his cursed technique and return to the battlefield, where he fought against Sukuna. Of course, Yuta actually intended to defeat Sukuna without utilizing the power of Gojo’s body. However, that was not to be. Once Yuta was cut down by the world splitting dismantle, his body was taken to none other than Shoko, then she ended up paving the way for the body transfer to take place.
Yuta ended up jumping inside Gojo’s body and utilizedthe power of reverse cursed techniqueto bring it to life. Using Kenjaku’s brain-hopping technique, Yuta was able to pull this massive feat off and now, he is in full control of Gojo’s body. When it comes to Yuta’s strength, the very first thing that fans need to keep in mind is that he is incredibly powerful. However, Yuta doesn’t have access to his own skillset right now. Every ability that he has right now belongs to Gojo. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, however. In fact, it is actually a massive advantage for Yuta because Gojo’s body is much better, and is equipped with some of the strongest abilities to have existed in the entire series. Gojo has access to the Limitless cursed technique, which is far superior to even Sukuna’s technique. He has also got access to Six Eyes and, put together, these two abilities make Gojo the strongest modern sorcerer. Now, Yuta has access to both these techniques as well. It shouldn’t be a surprise to the fans to see Yuta making use of the neutral Limitless, which is Infinity, the power to attract using Blue, and the power to repel using Red.
He should also have access to Purple, given that Yuta knows how to utilize cursed technique reversal.He also knows about the secrets of Gojo’s body, thanks to having access to all of his memories using Kenjaku’s cursed technique. Yuta can also expand his domain, as fans know already, and he already utilized the power of Unlimited Void towards the end of the previous chapter.

Yuta Is Limited In Terms Of What He Can Do In Gojo’s Body
While Yuta certainly is going to be very powerful and is undoubtedly the Strongest on the battlefield right now, alongside Sukuna, he is also going to be faced with quite a few limitations. The very first and the most glaring problem that he has right now is the fact that he cannot utilize his copy technique for long. It was made clear in this chapter that Yuta’s technique only lasts for 5 minutes. What happens next is something that even Yuta does not know. There are three possibilities that could come true once the 5 minutes are up.
Yuta can only use his Copy technique for as long as Rika is fully manifested, which is 5 minutes. What happens after those 5 minutes are up?
Either Yuta dies immediately, given that his current body is not going to be alive anymore, or, he is going to die a slow death after the 5 minutes are up. The third possibility is that Yuta is going to be stuck in Gojo’s body forever and will have to live on as Gojo for the rest of his life. This means that even ifYuta is able to dominate Sukunain battle, the possibility of him dying after 5 minutes still exists.
This certainly isn’t all. It is also possible that Yuta, due to not being the primary user of the Six Eyes and the Limitless cursed technique, is not going to be able to bring out the very best of it. He might be able to use it very well, but probably not as well as Gojo. This is going to be a very big problem for Yuta. There are other techniques that Yuta might not be able to utilize as well. For example, fans know that Gojo could refill his burnt-out cursed technique. Whether Yuta can do that or not remains to be seen.
