How to Solve Disc Puzzles in Endless Ocean Luminous
To activate a Disc puzzle, all you need to do isgo to the center of it and press the A button. The game will then provide a short cutscene with a riddle for the type of creature needed to swim by with to solve the puzzle. For instance, one Disc puzzle states: “Return here while swimming aside a creature of countless blades.”
In this case, the nearby Barred Knifejaw is the answer. You’ll need to locate it, scan it, and then befriend it, so it swims next to you. Finally, swim back to the center of the Disc puzzleand the Barred Knifejaw will follow, which will trigger the completion of the Disc puzzle.
With this in mind, there are a few important things about finding and befriending the necessary creature. First, thesolution to the riddle is generally found within the vicinity of the Disc, so stick close to it when searching.
