Sailing across the open seas presents the typical challenges, whether facing off against enemy warships, giant sea monsters, or the ocean herself. Silver Coins are one of the in-game currencies and the most common inSkull and Bones. Silver can be used to purchase everything from blueprints to weapons and cosmetics for both players and their ships. Therefore, here are thefastest ways to earn Silver inSkull and Bones.
How to Get Silver Fast in Skull and Bones
It will take a little while for players to earn their first bit of Silver, but if they want stronger weapons andbetter cosmetic choices, they’ll need quite a lot in savings. Players can grind it out and get Silver almost certainly just by exploring, but there are ways to make the big bucks.
Complete Contracts
Contracts are guaranteed ways to earn Silver inSkull and Bones. Players can pick up Contracts from various NPCs at outposts by talking to them or using the job posting board at Sainte-Anne’s. Main Contracts have bigger payouts, but the jobs are more challenging to complete and are usually requested by Kingpins. Completing Contracts from John Scurlock is an excellent way to get Silver in the early game.
NPCs like the blacksmith and the commodity merchant will usually have simpler Contracts available. Additionally, the job board at Sainte-Anne has side Contracts and updates regularly. Some Contracts can be completed more than once, so check them often.
When playing with friendsusing the co-op features, everyone gets Silver anytime someone completes a new Contract.
Shoot Down Ships and Plunder Forts
Skull and Bonesis full of NPC ships, such as merchants, warships, and gatherers. All of these carry different types of goods, including Silver. Players can see their difficulty level once they identify them with their scope. Warships are tricky because they usually travel in groups, so ensure you’reprepared before attacking.
Players will also find settlements and forts that can be traded with or plundered. Plundering yields the most valuables, but players will be facing off against guard tower attacks and naval reinforcements. Using the “Call for Help” function is a good idea if things get too intense.
Sell Commodities
Players will come across commodity items as they explore and take down enemy ships. Unlike materials andfood rations, commodities can only be traded or sold. Check and see how much they are worth before selling them because they can usually be sold for different prices depending on what vendor or outposts you are at. Their demand can be noted by the red or green arrows next to them when selling.
