As part of the reveals forHonkai: Star Rail’s Version 1.4 Special Program, the developer would reveal the shortened cycle for the patch. According to an official update,Star Rail’s Version 1.5 will only last five weeks with a planned end date of November 15. The tightened schedule would be the first time since the game’s release in April thatStar Railhas experimented with a shorter update cycle. No official reason was given forthe shortened release schedule, nor whether the change would be permanent or exclusive to Version 1.4.
Version 1.4’s Special Program showed off a plethora of content coming to the game. Alongside the previously mentioned Aetherium Wars event and new characters,Star Rail’s newest update will introduce another Simulated Universe-focused event with “Planar Infinity,” introducing an endless gauntlet-style challenge to the game mode. The update is also set to feature the return of both the “Planar Fissure” and “Realm of the Strange” events, featuring double rewards for Planar Ornaments and Relics, as well asa new login rewards campaign.Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 1.4 will launch on October 11.
